Team GB World Trophy Team lay a marker in the sand ahead of the FIM International Six Days Enduro in Portimao, Portugal with a GP podium sweep – crowdfunding page launched to boost their 2019 ISDE bid.
The British ISDE World Trophy Team signalled their intentions for a result at the upcoming 94th ISDE in Portimao, Portugal, with a white-wash result at the EnduroGP round in the Czech Republic.
Brad Freeman, Steve Holcombe, Daniel McCanney and Joe Wootton scooped first-to-fourth overall on Saturday at the Czech GP, winning all the senior classes (E1 for Freeman, E2 for Wootton and E3 for Holcombe with McCanney runner-up in E3).
On Sunday Freeman, Holcombe and McCanney repeated the same podium layout while Wootton ended up in a hedge halfway through the last cross test dropping to six in E2 and eleventh overall.
Dan Mundell joined the party on day two in Czecho also with a podium in J1 class and fifth overall on his Junior debut having stepped up early from the Youth class.

While the top two riders at least are fully concentrated on the EnduroGP world title for now, it was a result which will boost the GB Team as a whole as they raise vital funds for Portugal.
The British World Trophy and Junior Trophy teams are seeking support at the FIM’s longest running competition. The governing body in the UK, the ACU, provides a budget to support the Brits but it’s not enough to found both teams at the ISDE.
