Video highlights of British Sprint Enduro Championship rounds four and five at Ratlinghope, Shrewsbury where Jack Edmondson and Jed Etchells share the wins.

The fourth and fifth rounds of the British Sprint Enduro Championship were held this past Saturday and Sunday at the Brow Farm in Ratlinghope. On the opening day the two Sherco riders Jack Edmondson and Dan Mundell were eager for the win and they put out a nice battle. Finally, it was Edmondson who got the top spot after winning four out of eight special tests and coinciding less time in the ones he wasn’t on top. Mark Roberts rounded the podium.

On Sunday lady luck played her cards against Edmondson and he suffered a mechanical issue on his Sherco on test two. Jack was able to start again in the third test with a spare bike but the time he lost was too much and he wasn’t able to make to the podium.

Everything looked set for Mundell to claim the top spot but a problem in the third test cost him a valuable minute. Mundell put an incredible high pace after that, posting fastest times in the remaining tests but the minute lost proved decisive leaving Jed Etchells to claim a well-deserved win. Mundell finished second and Alex Walton third on the day but the combined results meant Mundell took overall honours for the weekend.

Full results not available at time of writing.

Next stop for the British Sprint Enduro Series will be at Belle Isle Farm, Middletown in July 27.
