Following a dramatic change in the weather at the 18th running of the Erzberg Rodeo the second day’s prologue has been cancelled, due to low cloud on the upper, high-speed, sections of the course.
Despite threatening rain clouds some 200 riders were able to make a second run up the mountain but with visibility reduced to dangerously low levels the decision was taken to cancel the day’s action.

As a consequence the results from the first day have been confirmed as the official prologue results…
Austrian Kawasaki rider Seppi Fally, who topped Thursday night’s Rocket Ride, posted the fastest time with a 10.43:06. Second fastest was Austrian KTM rider Lars Enockl with a time of 10.43:447, while Britain’s Jonny Walker was third with a time of 10.59:591.
